1. Purpose of This Policy
This policy describes the information xmtradingapp.org may encounter while providing product pages, platform information, FAQs, browser preferences and the site contact form. It explains the site-level processing boundary rather than reproducing the privacy notice of any XM legal entity.
Real XM account registration, identity verification, trading, deposits, withdrawals and Members Area activity are processed by the legal entity that provides the account. Those activities are governed by that entity’s own privacy policy, client agreement and related legal documents.
Content on this site is for product, platform and workflow information. It does not create a client relationship with an XM legal entity and does not alter the privacy or contractual terms of a real trading account.
2. Scope
Processing covered by this site
This policy covers browsing public pages, switching language, handling the cookie banner, reading FAQs and submitting information through the contact form. The exact processing depends on the functions you actually use.
Processing outside this site
xm.com, XM Profile, MT4, MT5, XM App, MetaTrader WebTrader, app stores and other external services operate in separate technical and legal environments. Their account, KYC, trading, payment and device data are subject to their own policies.
XM Group includes multiple legal entities. The privacy policy that applies to a real account depends on the company identified during onboarding and in the client documents, not on the XM brand name alone.
3. Information This Site May Handle
This site does not ask you to upload KYC documents, full card details or trading passwords. Depending on the feature used, the site may handle browser preferences, contact-form content and technical requests needed to deliver pages and resources.
Browser and interface preferences
Language selection, cookie-banner state and similar interface preferences may be stored in cookies or localStorage. These settings are normally specific to the browser and device where they were created.
Information you submit
The contact form may include a name, email address, issue type, optional account number and message. Submit only the minimum information needed to explain a site-content or general routing question.
Technical and network requests
When you open a page, the browser requests HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and fonts. Hosting, CDN or third-party resource providers may generate ordinary access logs such as request time, IP address, browser information or requested resource, depending on their configuration.
Sensitive information you should not submit
- XM Profile, MT4, MT5 or email passwords
- SMS, email or authenticator one-time codes and recovery codes
- Full payment-card details, payment PINs or remote-control credentials
- Identity documents or screenshots containing unrelated sensitive account information
If a real XM account case requires KYC, payment, trade or account records, use the protected support process provided by the applicable XM legal entity instead of placing sensitive data into this site.
4. Processing Purposes
Information handled by this site should be limited to clear website, communication, functionality and security purposes. Reading product content does not automatically create an XM client profile or trading account.
- Remember language, cookie-banner state and other necessary interface preferences.
- Process site-content feedback or general messages you choose to submit.
- Maintain page functionality, diagnose errors and improve usability.
- Identify obvious spam, automated abuse or suspicious website requests.
Identity verification, trade execution, payment processing, anti-money-laundering controls, account security and regulated record keeping for a real XM account are handled by the applicable XM entity under its own legal basis and policies.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
This site may use cookies and localStorage to remember language, banner state and other website preferences. For storage types, purposes, controls and third-party resources, read the Cookie Policy.
You can manage site storage through the cookie banner and browser settings. Clearing site data can reset preferences, but it does not change XM Profile, MetaTrader accounts, trading permissions or account balances.
This site currently requests font files from Google Fonts. The browser may communicate directly with that third-party service when loading fonts. That request path is separate from contact-form content and is subject to the provider’s own rules.
6. Retention
Browser preferences stored through cookies or localStorage generally remain until you clear site data, change browser profile, finish a private-browsing session or the site changes its storage logic.
The current site form should not be treated as an XM support record or Members Area ticket. If server-side message retention is introduced, this policy should be updated to describe what is stored, why it is retained, for how long and who can access it.
Technical logs created by hosting, CDN or external resource providers can follow the retention rules of those services. Their retention periods should not be described as if this site controls them unilaterally.
7. Third Parties and External Services
Using this site can involve requests to third-party resources or navigation to external websites. Whether those services record IP addresses, device information, cookies or login state is governed by their own policies.
- Google Fonts and other external resources: the browser may request files directly from a third-party server.
- Social-media and external links: once opened, the destination site controls its own cookies, logs and account data.
- xm.com, XM Profile, MT4, MT5, XM App and app stores: these services maintain separate account and data-processing environments.
Where the operator of this site is legally required to disclose data it actually controls, disclosure should follow applicable law and valid legal process. This site cannot make privacy commitments on behalf of XM Global Limited or another XM entity.
8. Security
The site should use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information it handles, including minimising sensitive-data collection and reducing unauthorised access, modification or disclosure risk.
When opening an account page or downloading a trading terminal, verify the destination domain, app publisher and platform source. Do not provide OTPs, full passwords, recovery codes or remote-control access to unknown parties.
Authentication, device management, payment security, trading permissions and account-level security for real XM clients are controlled by the relevant XM service and legal entity, not by this website.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can control the browser preferences and information this site actually handles. Any statutory privacy rights available to you also depend on the applicable law, the identity of the data controller and the data that controller holds.
- Manage cookies, local storage and preferences through browser settings and the Cookie Policy.
- Clear xmtradingapp.org site data in your browser to remove locally stored language and banner preferences.
- Stop using the contact form or submit only the minimum information required for the website issue you want to describe.
- For real XM account data, KYC, trading, payments or personal-profile requests, use XM Profile or the protected support routes described on Contact us.
For general account, platform and funding questions, start with the FAQ. For leverage, margin and potential trading losses, read the Risk Disclosure.
10. Minors and XM Entity Boundaries
Minors
Trading-product content on this site is intended for adults who can independently understand product and risk information. Eligibility to open a real XM account is determined by the applicable XM entity, client agreement and local law.
XM Group and legal entities
XM is a group brand. XM Global Limited and other XM Group companies can operate separate services and websites, and each entity may publish its own privacy policy. A privacy notice from one XM entity should not automatically be applied to another.
Jurisdiction and service availability
Account availability, privacy rights, regulatory requirements and client-data handling can vary by country and contracting entity. Confirm the legal company shown during registration rather than relying only on the XM brand name.
11. Policy Updates
If this site adds server-side forms, analytics, advertising technology, authentication, embedded media or another feature that changes how personal information is processed, this policy should be updated so that it matches the site’s actual behaviour.
An update to XM Global Limited or another XM entity’s official privacy policy does not automatically amend this site policy. Real XM client data remains subject to the latest privacy notice and legal documents of the entity that controls that account data.
12. Related Documents
Read this policy together with the Cookie Policy for browser storage, the Risk Disclosure for leverage and trading losses, Contact us for site and XM support boundaries, and About XM Group for the distinction between the brand and legal entities.
XM Global Limited currently publishes a separate Privacy Policy for its clients, potential clients, website visitors, xm.com, Members Area and related services, and states that it does not apply to websites operated by other organisations.
